Berg and Hank

Saying Goodbye

We have had our ups and downs as we built our new house. This was one of those tough moments when Berg had to say goodbye to the place he knew as home; a moment when I wish I were a better parent and knew what to do and what to say to make things better. I wanted to end on a happy note, a fun memory for my Bergie bum to cherish, so we had a race around the house. Kind of silly, but at the time it was all I kind think of. We have been at the new house almost three weeks now. I feel like life is starting to slip back into some form of normalcy and we are slowly getting settled. I think the boys are adjusting to all the changes well and hope we can look back on this whole experience one day and know we made the right decision for our family.

Lots of Love

There are so many elements in this picture that would normally bother me; the crazy outfits, uncombed hair, ginormous stroller, but I love it! I can just see the love and adoration these two have for each other and it melts my heart.

I have been having one of those weeks (maybe months) where the laundry pile just get bigger and bigger, as well as, the paperwork, dishes, to do projects, and so on. I get in the habit of telling Bergen when Mom's done with work, done cleaning the house, done doing who names what we will play. After reading some things last night it hit me: there's always going to be a project, my house will never be spotless; but my little boys are growing up way too fast. I can't claim I am going to change over night into super mom, but TODAY we went to the park in the midst of work, projects, and a messy house and played. It felt wonderful.

My Little Snow Bunny...

Bergie and I were able to get outside and play in the snow yesterday while Hank napped. He chased after me with "snow bombs" and as you can see still loves to eat the snow. It was so nice to have some one on one time with him. He melted my heart when we came inside; we were reading stories before his nap and he said, "Mom thank you so much for playing with me!" Poor thing has been a little neglected by his mama with the baby.

Brotherly Love

We are all in love, including the big brother...

Silly Boy

Berg woke up from his nap today and found me in our office. The light was beautiful so I started snapping away. He is such a silly boy lately and loves to tease, but has a hard time getting teased back. His mood can change in an instant; I bet you can't guess what picture we ended on.
